Movie: City Of Gods
The movie City of god is about two you men who chose different path , Rocket wanted to become a photographer who takes pictures of the uprising drug related violence in his neighborhood and then there's Jose "Ze" Pequeno is a drug lord that wants to be the only one in the town and uses the photo's rocket takes to increase his fame as a turf war erupts against his rivals. The movie relates to one of joe flom's lessons and that is meaningful work which explains finding meaning in your work , where there is a relationship between effort and reward. Rocket loved photography because he wanted to become a famous photographer and be able to move out of rio to somewhere better and as for Jose "Ze" Pequeno also relates because he wanted to become the only drug operation in rio , he takes out his rivals to take there clients and bring more money to him and also to become the drug dealer in his town . That is why i believe that meaningful work relates to both persons because both are trying achieve something that the more effort they put into what they want , the better their rewards are going to be and it can also relate to The power of habit because once rocket see's something related to the increasing drug violence his first reaction is to take pictures and increases his chance on being a great photographer like he wants to be and as for Lil Ze if a new drug operation is forming and interferes with his operations , his first thought is to take them out and take all their drugs and money That's why it relates to the power of habit and also the book Outliers.

The author wes more he just finished military school and his life was changed he went from one of the most disruptive students to being well respected as he entered school again his grades improved and started receiving scholarships from colleges because his skills in basketball were really good , wes started experiencing racism and being harassed when he was walking with a fellow platoon sergeant some drunk teens where shouting racial slurs and even threw a bottle at wes , wes was angry and wanted to pull them out of there car but instead he calmed himself and ran back to his school campus.
This chapter relates to outliers because as the other wes barely getting out of jail he lacked willpower to look for a job when he knew he couldn't get one but he still could of tried but instead he gave up and started his drug business again and ended up getting arrested again. as for the author wes he gained willpower when he was angered by the drunk teens shouting racial comments but instead of fighting them he decided to avoid them and ran back to his campus with dalio a fellow platoon sergeant shows that the author has willpower to not go back to his old ways.

Chapter 5 is about how the author wes was sent to military school because he was doing really poorly in school and it was the only option for his mother , after arriving to military school he was homesick , he wanted to go home but his mother didnt let him come home after staying there for awhile he learned a new type of respect , Real respect you can't get out of people Was something different than his type of respect in his neighborhood.
For the other wes he met a girl on his school bus and a couple months later he found out shes pregnant and that he was the father , he told tony about his situation but not his mother , tony broke the news at his brothers 1st birthday to his mother and she didnt say anything but one night he walked out to a guy yelling at his girlfriend and he tried to avoid it but he grabbed wes and started beating him up , wes ran inside got his gun and also his friend ran outside with his gun they both chased him and shot him , wes was arrested after that happened.
This chapter relates to chapter 9 of the power of habit because the author wes he chose to hang with friends that caused him to skip and have low grades in school in order to receive respect from his friends and neighborhood by doing what they want him to do and the same for the other wes he does what his brother tony told him is one up anybody that threatens him and he chose to live by that and that caused him to kill someone and get arrested after having his first baby so the author wes cue was school and his routine was ditching with friends and his reward was respect but changed his habit after military school and for the other wes his cue was being threatened or touched in an aggressive way and routine was tp retaliate back and his reward was earning fierce respect so they wont do it again but because of that he was arrested for murder.

The Other Wes Moore - Chapter 4
In chapter 4 of the other wes moore it is about how the other wes moore brother tony found out about him being in the drug game like him and he didn't want that for wes so he confronted him and they fought until their mom stopped them and found out what was going , she looked through his room and found his stash of drugs and she flushed them down and wes ran away to his girlfriends house to do his operation there. The Author wes moore he had trouble focusing in school, mostly was interested what his street friends did and that was learning about rap and tagging public walls after getting arrested he promised not to do it again but later that week he ended up tagging again.
This chapter relates to the power of habit chapter 2 : The craving brain because the other wes was craving the money and the nice things so it triggers the routine of going to his corner and start selling drugs in order to get huge amounts of money as the reward and as for the author wes it shows that his brain is craving for street knowledge when he got arrested and he was crying and saying he's never doing it again but he ended up doing it again , so his trigger is from his friend and his routine is to do what was cool and his reward was having a fierce attitude. so that's why chapter 2 of power of habits relates to this chapter of the book.

The other wes moore -chapter 2
In "The Other Wes Moore" Chapter 2 was about how both wes moore's found something or someone they can relate too. The other wes moore found a little boy named Woody , they were best friends and played in the same football team in school the other wes moore loved football but his academics declined as a result but one day he was playing pick up game of football but got a little rough with another guy and he punched wes in the face , wes ran home and got a kitchen knife to try to stab him but the police wa there to stop him , wes got arrested and so did woody.
For the the author wes moore he moved to the bronx with his grandparents but one day he snucked out to go play basketball with people more older but in that caged basketball court their was a bond , a sense of trust because in that court everybody told stories of their crimes , gangs, etc and found that place interesting and even made friends with some new people. This chapter relates to willpower in outliers because the other wes lacks willpower when he got punched by the other kid, he had no willpower to control himself because of what his brother tony taught him and that is to one up someone when in a situation and for the author wes moore he had a strong willpower because when he would get into a situation he would shake it off and apologize instead of retaliating back , he controls his anger. That's why it relates to outliers.

The Other Wes Moore :Chapter 1
In chapter 1 of the other wes moore it talks about both wes moore's life story in the beginning, The author and the other wes moore grew up with no fathers, for the author his father died when he was at a young age and for the other he didn't even knew his father only had his mother and the differences between those two was that the author's mom was abused in her first marriage, originated from Jamaica and was an activist and for the the other wes moore his mother left her husband for being drunk all the time and didn't want him to interfere with her children and she worked as a secretary and doesn't say where she originated from. The book outliers can explain the event of chapter 1 because in chapter one of outliers it talks about being born in modest circumstances so the author wes moore had support from his grandparents after his father died and for the other wes moore he only had support from his mother because his father left when his mother had him so that's why i believe it relates to the Matthew Effect because in outlier's it was about opportunities and that's what the author had because his mother got support from his grandparents so he had help to take care of him but the only difference is the other wes moore he didn't have that much support he needed in his life, so i believe that this chapter in the book "The other wes moore" relates to chapter 1 of "Outliers".
